All Access with Andy Garcia

The Summit Center is the focus of an episode of the award-winning television series All Access with Andy Garcia. The short-form documentary program airs on public television stations across the country.

Filmed at Summit Academy Stahl, the three-minute episode provides a behind-the-scenes look inside a special education school. The segment explores the challenges and unique learning needs of students with autism and highlights the importance of personalized instruction and therapeutic services in promoting greater independence and well-being.

“Collaborating with All Access with Andy Garcia has been a tremendous opportunity. It has given us a platform to educate people on what we see every day at Summit Academy—that students with autism can reach their potential when met with optimism and understanding,” said Lisa Foti, CEO. “We’re proud to represent our community on a national stage and to show what compassionate, evidence-based support looks like in practice.”

Hosted by Academy Award–nominated actor Andy Garcia, All Access profiles businesses and organizations addressing complex challenges in a range of sectors. The Summit Center’s inclusion underscores the national conversation on autism and the growing need for meaningful support systems and opportunities.

Summit Academy has four campuses which support 450 students from 30+ school districts throughout Western New York. Year after year, it has been named a School of Excellence by the National Association of Special Education Teachers.

The episode is currently airing on public television stations nationwide, including Buffalo Toronto Public Media.
