Summit Academy receives “School of Excellence” designation

The National Association of Special Education Teachers (NASET) has designated Summit Academy a “School of Excellence” for the 2019-20 school year.

The School of Excellence award is the highest honor a private special education school can attain through the NASET professional association. The recognition is presented to special education schools throughout the country that have met rigorous professional criteria and have demonstrated exceptional dedication, commitment and achievement in the field of special education.

“It is such an honor to receive this prestigious designation from NASET. I’m especially proud of our staff members who remain committed and dedicated to our students’ success. We will continue to meet NASET’s standards so that our students receive the best possible education,” said Susan Whittaker, Ed.D., Summit Academy Principal.

Congrats to the Summit Academy team!
