The Summit Center Receives Grant from Doug Flutie, Jr. Foundation for Autism

The Doug Flutie, Jr. Foundation for Autism has awarded The Summit Center a grant of $6,220 to augment its respite care program. Through this generous gift, Summit will be able to purchase fitness and leisure equipment that enables participants to make choices on what they find enjoyable.

Summit’s CEO, Steve Anderson, stated, “The Doug Flutie, Jr. Foundation for Autism has given us the opportunity to incorporate more engaging activities in our on-site respite care program. Because of their generosity, we can promote social interaction and physical wellness through a variety of equipment, from video game consoles to scooters and gym mats.”
